About

About

I’m Daiane Angolini, Engineer, Senior Staff at Qualcomm, where I work with embedded Linux and the Yocto/OpenEmbedded ecosystem. I also contribute actively to Foundries.io’s Linux microPlatform (LmP), including coordinating recent releases.

Previously, I spent over five years at Foundries.io and before that eleven years at Freescale Semiconductor/NXP, working on BSPs, board customizations, Android, and Yocto-based platforms for i.MX hardware.

Books

I’m a published author on the Yocto Project:

  • Embedded Linux Development with Yocto Project — 1st, 2nd, and 3rd editions (Packt Publishing), co-authored with Otávio Salvador
  • Heading for the Yocto Project (Kindle), co-authored with Otávio Salvador
  • Embedded Linux Development with Yocto Project — 4th edition (Packt Publishing, forthcoming), covering Yocto Project 6.0 “Wrynose” LTS

What I write about here

Practical notes on things I learn, debug, or figure out the hard way: Yocto, BitBake, embedded Linux, and occasionally other tools I use daily.
